In a landmark step towards gender empowerment and sustainable urban mobility, the Sindh government has announced the launch of a program to distribute 1,000 electric scooters to women across the province. The initiative, set to roll out through a lottery system next month, is part of a broader strategy to provide safe, affordable, and eco-friendly transportation to female commuters.
This progressive initiative was unveiled during a high-level meeting chaired by Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon in Karachi.
