PIA to Add Four Aircraft to Its Fleet

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plans to add four aircraft to its fleet as it looks to expand operations and resume flights on additional routes.
Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Osama Sarwar shared the plan during a National Assembly session on Friday, outlining the expected timeline for the aircraft.
He said the first aircraft would become operational on November 1, while PIA would receive the second aircraft on November 15. The airline would finalize the second aircraft’s route after its arrival.
Sarwar added that two more aircraft would join the fleet in January 2027 and begin operations from Karachi.
He said the fleet expansion would enable PIA to operate on additional routes. The announcement comes as the airline continues to restore its international flight network, including services to the United Kingdom.
