In contrast, the United States, through President Donald Trump, has indicated a reluctance to intervene in the India-Pakistan tensions, which he described as being centuries old. Trump’s remarks suggest a hands-off approach, emphasizing the longstanding nature of the discord between the two countries while expressing confidence in their ability to resolve their issues independently.
Amid these international dynamics, China has reiterated its intention to fortify relations with India, with Yi stating last month that trade ties should not be overshadowed by boundary disputes.
