*Demands the international community to respect its legal responsibilities towards protecting Palestinian prisoners*

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns in the strongest terms the provocative calls made by the extremist and racist Israeli Minister Ben Gvir to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip under the blatant misleading name (voluntary migration), noting that more than one Israeli official has boasted of his call to displace Gazans and reduce their numbers in the Gaza Strip and deport more than half, as well as what the Israeli war machine is doing in terms of genocide and destruction of all the elements of life in the Strip and turning it into scorched earth unfit for human life.

The Ministry warns of the consequences and repercussions of these calls and demands the international community and all countries to deal with them with the utmost seriousness and to intervene quickly to stop their implementation immediately, especially since the Israeli government quickly implements such policies and responds to calls from extremist ministers to preserve the ruling Israeli coalition.

In a related context, the Ministry holds the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for the martyrdom of prisoners Mohammed Idris and Moaz Rayan inside the occupation prisons, and calls on the international community and its specialized organizations and bodies, most notably the International Red Cross, to respect their legal responsibilities and provide protection to the prisoners and know their whereabouts, and to intervene urgently to stop the occupation’s crimes against prisoners, especially beating, torture, starvation, overcrowding, enforced disappearance, medical negligence, deliberate killing, harassment, rape, and deprivation of the most basic rights, which led to the spread of diseases among prisoners, and others.
