Possible Dates For Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, and Eid-ul-Adha in Pakistan for 2025

The holy month of Ramadan, observed by Muslims worldwide through fasting and prayer, is expected to begin in the spring of 2025. The exact dates will depend on the sighting of the crescent moon, a significant tradition in Islamic culture.

When Does Ramadan Start?

According to lunar forecasts, Ramadan is projected to begin on the evening of Friday, February 28, or Saturday, March 1, 2025. However, the official start date will be determined closer to the time after the crescent moon is sighted.

Eid al-Fitr 2025

Eid al-Fitr, the festival marking the conclusion of Ramadan, is expected to be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, or Monday, March 31. As with Ramadan, the exact date of Eid will also depend on the sighting of the Shawwal moon.

Eid-ul-Adha 2025

The festival of Eid-ul-Adha, commemorating the spirit of sacrifice, is anticipated to fall on June 7, 8, and 9. These dates are based on astronomical predictions and may vary depending on the actual moon sighting in different regions.
