Pakistan Shoots Down Two Indian Aircraft

A high-level military source confirmed to ProPakistani that PAF shot down two Indian jets.

According to details, an Indian Su-30MKI jet was shot down near Akhnoor using air-to-air missiles.

A second Indian fighter jet was shot down by the HQ-9 HIMADS.

Pakistan’s response comes after missile strikes by India in Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muridke, Bagh and Muzaffarabad.

A statement by PTV News, quoting security sources, said: “Pakistani forces are giving a befitting reply to Indian aggression. According to initial reports, the Pakistan Air Force has shot down two enemy aircraft. All Pakistani Air Force aircraft are safe. Pakistan armed forces are giving a befitting reply to the enemy’s aggression.”

Information Minister Responds

Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Tuesday confirmed that Pakistan has shot down two Indian fighter jets in response to cross-border aggression.

He said that the Pakistan Armed Forces are giving a “befitting and strong” response to Indian hostilities.

“India has deliberately targeted civilian populations, which is a clear violation of international laws,” he added.

Tarar further said that India has no evidence to support its allegations regarding the Pahalgam attack.
