The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has decided to assist the civic authorities in renovating and enhancing one of Islamabad’s parks.

According to an official from the Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) environment wing, the UAE embassy, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has expressed interest in supporting the city administration by adding new facilities to a park in the capital.

A letter from the ministry, received by the CDA a few days ago, stated that the UAE embassy is interested in collaborating with the Islamabad administration to renovate and upgrade one of the existing parks, possibly located in sectors F-6, F-7, F-8, or another area in Islamabad.

The letter also requested the CDA to identify a suitable park for renovation and facility enhancement and to inform the ministry as soon as possible. It is worth mentioning that the Argentine government previously assisted the CDA in establishing Argentina Park in sector G-6, while the Japanese government contributed to the development of the Japanese Park at the foothills of the Margalla Hills.
