Pakistan will observe Youm-e-Takbeer on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, marking the day the country became a nuclear power.

This day commemorates the successful nuclear tests conducted on May 28, 1998, in Chaghi, Balochistan, which made Pakistan the first Muslim country and the seventh in the world to possess nuclear weapons.

As a result, all government offices, educational institutions, and most private businesses will remain closed for the day.
