Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced a three-day spring festival in the federal capital, set to take place from February 25 to 27. The festival will feature cultural and entertainment activities to promote Pakistan’s heritage and traditions.
According to the Interior Ministry, the event will include food stalls, performances by the army band, and a parade by Rangers and Islamabad Police. The Islamabad Police will also conduct a torch parade rehearsal, while Rangers will showcase a camel platoon display.
Other highlights include fireworks, tent-pegging, and cultural dance performances.
Naqvi chaired a high-level meeting to review preparations for the festival, stressing that it will not only celebrate Pakistan’s cultural diversity but also present a positive image of the country to the world.
Foreign diplomats and business leaders have been invited to witness the festivities and experience Pakistan’s vibrant traditions.
Authorities are finalizing arrangements to ensure a well-organized and secure event, with various departments coordinating efforts to make the festival successful.
