The Mianyang base of China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda, which took three years to build, was put into trial operation on Tuesday. Thirteen pandas from Wolong Shenshuping and Dujiangyan bases of China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda moved into their new home at the newly opened Mianyang base on the day.

The Mianyang giant panda base, covering an area of about 120 hectares, is located at an ecological park in Mianyang City. The base boasts more than 50 sets of giant panda enclosures with a beautiful environment and meets the requirements of giant panda breeding.
