Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder fighter jet drew major attention at the Dubai Airshow 2025. The aircraft became the centrepiece of the Pakistan Air Force pavilion. Indian Air Force officials and international visitors closely observed its design and capabilities.

Social media reports show Indian pilots taking selfies with the JF-17 Thunder. They asked detailed questions about its technical features. The interaction highlighted curiosity and professional interest in Pakistan’s aerial technology.

The jet’s display coincided with Pakistan’s announcement of delivering the first batch of JF-17s to Azerbaijan. Discussions are also underway for potential joint production in the future. Officials confirmed these agreements could be finalised soon.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has shown a strong interest in boosting defence ties with Pakistan. He has also pledged a $2 billion investment in the country’s defence and infrastructure sectors. The investment plan will be discussed during his visit in April.

The JF-17’s spotlight at the airshow reinforced Pakistan’s growing defence capabilities. It also highlighted international recognition of the country’s aerospace and military industry. The event offered a platform for showcasing technical expertise and building partnerships.
