Indian-descent CEOs helm some of the world’s largest companies. These corporate titans lead in terms of market capitalization and influence. These CEOs often share common traits – many have pursued higher education in the US.

Indian CEOs dominate at top companies. For instance, Microsoft, under CEO Satya Nadella, boasts a market capitalization of $3.25 trillion, while Sundar Pichai, leading Alphabet (formerly Google), has driven its market cap to $2.05 trillion (as of July 22, 2024).

A significant number of Indians have entered America for higher education, subsequently securing jobs in various American businesses. Over time, many of these individuals have ascended to the highest positions within major companies, reaching decision-making and policy-making stages. In these roles, they often protect and promote Indian interests while serving in American corporations.

This phenomenon has resulted in an influx of more Indian professionals, leading to a substantial presence, if not a near-monopoly, in some of America’s top corporations. This intellectual migration is sometimes referred to as an “Indian invasion of America.” It has the potential to influence American policymakers, politicians, media, and government to a considerable extent.

Indians have achieved this influential position gradually and subtly, without arousing significant awareness or concern among the broader American populace. If this trend continues, it is conceivable that a day may come when Americans find themselves working under Indian leadership. The ongoing rise of Indian professionals in American businesses poses a serious threat to transfer the of advanced technologies and capital to India. Alarming!
