The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced the launch of multiple real estate projects aimed at attracting investment from overseas Pakistanis. This initiative, discussed in a meeting on Monday attended by officials from the CDA and the Public-Private Partnership Authority, seeks to provide lucrative investment opportunities while contributing to the development of Islamabad.
CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa emphasized the importance of these projects, stating that they are designed to meet international standards and cater to the expectations of overseas Pakistanis. “Overseas Pakistanis are given excellent opportunities to invest in various projects of Islamabad related to the real estate sector,” Randhawa said in a press release.
The projects aim to offer encumbrance-free land and developments, ensuring that investments are secure and beneficial for both the investors and Pakistan. This approach is expected to boost foreign remittances and support the overall development of the capital city.
The Public-Private Partnership Authority will provide technical support for these projects, with the process of hiring advisers and consultants set to begin soon. This collaboration is intended to ensure that the projects are executed efficiently and meet the highest standards.
Randhawa also mentioned that unsolicited proposals received so far are under review, indicating a proactive approach to incorporating diverse ideas and opportunities into the development plans.
