inDrive, a global ride-hailing and urban services platform, has seen a remarkable increase in its operations in Pakistan. The company reported a 26% rise in rides and a 25% growth in active users in 2024 largely due to its ‘fair price’ model, which enables passengers and drivers to negotiate fares instead of relying on fixed prices.
Since its launch in 2021, inDrive has expanded its services across Pakistan. It now operates in 20 cities for local rides and covers 200 cities for intercity travel. The platform has gained strong traction, establishing itself as a major player in the country. Beyond transportation, the company has ventured into logistics, offering courier and freight services. Small businesses have especially benefited from this, with courier deliveries doubling during peak seasons in 2023.
inDrive is also making an impact through social initiatives. The company donated Rs. 10 million to the Akhuwat Foundation to help rebuild schools in flood-affected areas of Thatta and Thar. Additionally, it invested Rs. 7.5 million in collaboration with HANDS Pakistan to help create 100 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), helping individuals gain financial independence.
Expanding its presence in Pakistan’s technology sector, inDrive is setting up an IT development hub in Lahore to integrate local tech professionals into its global operations. Moreover, the company is looking into sustainable transportation, including the introduction of electric vehicle (EV) rides. Plans are also in place to launch premium ride-hailing services, such as business-class options, catering to a growing market demand.
With its rapid expansion, technological investments, and commitment to social responsibility, inDrive continues to strengthen its footprint in Pakistan, shaping the future of mobility and urban services in the country.
