Britain’s Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband condemns Israel’s move this week to launch a tender for the E1 settlement project and summons the country’s chargé d’affaires.
The E1 settlement project is a widely condemned Israeli settlement plan that would cut across land which the Palestinians seek for a state.
Miliband says he also made clear to Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar that “the Israeli government must halt E1 plans immediately, retract the tender and stop all settlement expansion.”
