The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has emphasized ongoing efforts to expand Pakistan’s motorway network through the development of the M-12 (Sambrial–Kharian) and M-13 (Kharian–Rawalpindi) motorways, aimed at improving transport infrastructure and regional connectivity.

In a post shared on its official X account, SIFC said the projects are expected to reduce travel distances, improve freight movement efficiency, and enhance regional mobility across the country.

The council noted that the motorway projects will strengthen logistics and transport infrastructure, improve market access, and create new opportunities for businesses and investors.

According to SIFC, the expansion of the motorway network forms part of broader efforts to build a more connected and economically integrated Pakistan.
