Pakistan’s textile industry received a major boost as the 32nd Textile Asia Exhibition concluded in Lahore with business agreements worth more than $350 million. 

This development indicates growing investor interest and international confidence in the country’s manufacturing sector.

The three-day exhibition, jointly organized by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan, brought together global manufacturers, technology providers, buyers, and investors, creating a platform for business partnerships and investment opportunities.

According to the organizers, agreements exceeding $350 million were signed during the exhibition, highlighting the strong commercial interest generated by the event, as Radio Pakistan reported. 

The exhibition showcased more than 2,000 global brands and featured over 425 companies, while attracting more than 55,000 trade representatives from across the textile value chain.

Trade delegations from more than eight countries also participated in the event, reflecting growing international confidence in Pakistan’s textile industry and its export potential.

The exhibition served as a platform for industry stakeholders to explore new technologies, strengthen business-to-business linkages, and identify opportunities for expanding textile exports.

The successful conclusion of the event comes as Pakistan seeks to enhance industrial competitiveness, attract foreign investment, and strengthen its position in global textile markets through export-led growth and increased international collaboration.
