The UN Secretary-General stated that there is no military solution to the
ongoing conflict in the Middle East. He said the talks hosted by Pakistan
between the US and Iran showed serious engagement and were a positive
step toward dialogue. Although no agreement was reached, he urged all
sides to continue discussions and maintain the ceasefire. He also stressed
the importance of maintaining open navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The
