In a significant step toward strengthening Pakistan’s startup ecosystem, the National Incubation Center (NIC) Islamabad has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Odoo Middle East DWC-LLC. The agreement was formalized on the sidelines of Indus AI Week, bringing together key stakeholders focused on advancing technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the country.

The collaboration is designed to support Pakistani startups by promoting market expansion, enabling digital transformation, and improving commercial readiness. Through this partnership, startups affiliated with the National Incubation Center Islamabad will gain access to structured commercial benefits that can help them scale their operations and compete more effectively in regional and global markets.

Officials involved in the initiative noted that the partnership will also introduce joint marketing campaigns and roadshows aimed at strengthening engagement across Pakistan’s growing startup ecosystem. These initiatives are expected to create new networking opportunities for founders while enhancing visibility for emerging technology ventures.

Another key focus of the collaboration is improving startup preparedness for scaling. By combining the incubation expertise of NIC Islamabad with Odoo’s global enterprise management solutions, the partnership aims to provide founders with practical tools and industry insights that can accelerate business growth.

Representatives from the technology sector have welcomed the development, viewing it as a positive step toward building stronger industry partnerships that connect local startups with international platforms. The agreement aligns with broader national efforts led by the Ministry of IT and Telecom and Ignite – National Technology Fund to position Pakistan as a competitive digital innovation hub.
