A state-of-the-art multipurpose digital center was inaugurated at the Business Incubation Center in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), to support women’s economic empowerment and improve digital skills under the Digitalization for Women Economic Empowerment (D4WEE) project.

The project is being implemented with financial support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Riaz Khan Mehsud, Commissioner of Peshawar Division, who served as the chief guest. Eun Kyung Kang, Country Head of KOICA, was also present at the ceremony.

Speaking at the event, Commissioner Mehsud reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering women through access to modern technology and skills development.

He praised KOICA for providing advanced digital equipment and facilities and assured full support from the district government and local administration to ensure the project’s successful implementation.

The event was held under the theme “Empower Her.” As part of the initiative, 3,000 women and female students across the province will receive digital skills training.

The program further aims to help women become economically self-reliant and improve their access to employment opportunities.
