Other customers will receive the SUVs with a 49kWh battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.brecorder.com\/primary\/2024\/10\/07211627a2b8b44.jpg?r=211847\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The production is set to begin at Regal\u2019s manufacturing facility in Manga Mandi, Lahore, and a formal production launch ceremony is expected by the end of October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to bring Pakistan\u2019s first locally assembled electric SUV, the Seres 3, to the market,\u201d said Muhammad Adeel Usman, Managing Director of Seres Pakistan, in a statement shared with\u00a0<em>Business Recorder<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis marks a significant step toward a more sustainable automotive future and provides a cost-effective electric vehicle option for our consumers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regal Automobiles has collaborated with Seres, an international electric vehicle manufacturer, to introduce Seres 3 electric SUV to the Pakistani market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year, Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) also announced entering a toll manufacturing agreement with ECO-Green Motors Limited (EGML) for manufacturing EGML\u2019s Honri-VE, which are equivalent to hatchbacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These collaborations reflect growing global trends toward electric mobility. It may also provide a solution to Pakistan\u2019s escalating fuel costs while reducing pressure on the country\u2019s foreign reserves in the long run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Established in 2017 as a joint venture between DFSK (Dongfeng Sokon) and the RP Group, Regal Automobiles is a prominent player in Pakistan\u2019s automotive sector. The company offers a wide range of vehicles, including light commercial vehicles, passenger cars, and SUVs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regal\u2019s manufacturing facility spans 26 acres in Manga Mandi, Lahore, and includes advanced ED painting technology. The company also has a network of 19 independent 3S dealerships across Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After electric two- and three-wheelers, Pakistan is now seeing an influx of electric cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Master Motors introduced its high-end&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brecorder.com\/news\/40317830\/electric-vehicles-master-changan-unveils-deepal-l07-s07-with-prices-starting-rs155mn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Changan\u2019s Deepal EVs<\/a>&nbsp;in August while&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brecorder.com\/news\/40321746\/dewan-farooque-motors-dfml-starts-ev-production-after-edbs-approval\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DFML began assembling<\/a>&nbsp;relatively affordable EVs \u2013 Honri 2.0 and 3.0.
