{"id":8951,"date":"2024-10-09T03:15:16","date_gmt":"2024-10-09T03:15:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=8951"},"modified":"2024-10-09T03:15:18","modified_gmt":"2024-10-09T03:15:18","slug":"fo-rejects-afghanistans-frivolous-remarks-on-pakistans-politics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=8951","title":{"rendered":"FO rejects Afghanistan&#8217;s &#8216;frivolous&#8217; remarks on Pakistan&#8217;s politics"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Baloch says AIG should deliver on commitments given to the international community by denying space to terror groups<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rejecting the Afghan foreign ministry\u2019s remark about the political situation in Pakistan, the Foreign Office on Monday asked the Afghanistan government that instead of lecturing a democratic country it should pay attention to fixing its own issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement on the development that took place after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists marched towards Islamabad, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan said on Sunday that the tension between the government and opposition party supporters might have a negative impact on the neighboring countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, rejected the \u201cfrivolous\u201d statement made by the spokesperson of the Afghanistan foreign ministry calling it an \u201cunacceptable\u201d and \u201cdeplorable\u201d interference in the domestic affairs of Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cInstead of lecturing a democratic country, the Afghan interim government (AIG) should focus on fixing its own domestic problems; prioritize inclusivity; and be responsive to needs and aspirations of its own people including the right to education for women and girls rather than curtailing their rights,\u201d the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said the AIG should also deliver on the commitments given to the international community by denying space to terror groups that were seriously threatening peace and security in the neighboring countries; and by preventing Afghanistan from becoming once again the center of global terrorism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The spokesperson reiterated that Pakistan remained committed to peace, dialogue, and cooperation in the region and expected all states, including Afghanistan, to adhere to the basic norms of responsible international conduct and interstate relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It should be noted that the law and order has been restored in the federal capital after days of unrest owing to the PTI&#8217;s protest with authorities resorting to firing tear gas and placing containers across the city to prevent the party workers&#8217; march.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Imran Khan-founded party initiated a series of protests for the &#8220;independence of the judiciary&#8221; and the release of its founder, who has been incarcerated at Rawalpindi&#8217;s Adiala Jail for more than a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clashes also broke out between the law enforcers and party workers, with both sides claiming that the other had attacked them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reference Link:- <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenews.com.pk\/latest\/1237621-fo-rejects-afghanistans-frivolous-remarks-on-pakistans-politics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.thenews.com.pk\/latest\/1237621-fo-rejects-afghanistans-frivolous-remarks-on-pakistans-politics<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Baloch says AIG should deliver on commitments given to the international community by denying space to terror groups Rejecting the Afghan foreign ministry\u2019s remark about the political situation in Pakistan, the Foreign Office on Monday asked the Afghanistan government that instead of lecturing a democratic country it should pay attention to fixing its own issues.
