These boats were once used in Rawal Dam Lake, but were parked following a ban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, officers of the CDA\u2019s environment wing rediscovered these neglected boats and chose to repurpose them for beautification. Currently, two teams\u2014one from Azerbaijan and one from the CDA\u2014are working on various road beautification projects in the capital city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Baku team, funded independently, is landscaping roads to give them a look akin to Baku\u2019s streets, following a request from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simultaneously, the CDA\u2019s environment wing is preparing for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO)\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1855473\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heads meeting<\/a>\u00a0scheduled for October 15-16.
