The Shanghai L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort, which contains the world’s largest indoor ski facility, went operational in Shanghai on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The integrated sports-entertainment-tourism resort is one of the key cultural and tourism projects at the Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. The facility spans about 350,000 square meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Its indoor ice-and-snow theme park alone covers 98,828.7 square meters, making it the world’s largest indoor ski facility. The park features a vertical drop of nearly 60 meters indoors, with three professional ski slopes totaling nearly 1,200 meters in length, as well as a snow entertainment area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apart from the indoor ski park, the resort also has a water park, which offers nearly 20 water-experience activities, both indoors and outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Shanghai L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort began presale ticketing on Aug. 8, and as of Friday, it has sold over 100,000 tickets in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
