The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, formalized a key agreement with the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) on Friday to introduce a cutting-edge curriculum in coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI) for primary school students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement was signed during a ceremony in Islamabad, attended by the Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a press release from the education ministry, this initiative aims to equip young students with essential 21st-century skills, fostering technological literacy from an early age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony also saw the presence of Education Secretary Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, additional secretary, director general, directors from FDE, and representatives from NUST.<\/p>\n\n\n

While introducing the project, the education secretary highlighted its key features, emphasizing the integration of advanced technology education into the primary school curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his address, the minister praised the initiative, stressing the critical importance of introducing technology at the primary education level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe world is changing rapidly, and it\u2019s essential to invest maximum resources in the education sector. Education investment is the only solution to future challenges,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The minister cited examples of other developing countries that have heavily invested in education and are now on the brink of becoming developed nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stressed the importance of uplifting Pakistan\u2019s education sector, noting that \u201cthe interventions in Islamabad Capital Territory should serve as a model for other provinces. Pakistan\u2019s youth, known for their intelligence and potential, can contribute significantly to the country\u2019s development if provided with the latest technology and education.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership between the Ministry, FDE, and NUST is set to be a transformative milestone, establishing new standards in Pakistan\u2019s education system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project promises to nurture innovation and critical thinking among young learners while addressing the urgent need to bridge the technological gap in education. The collaboration is expected to lay the groundwork for a future-ready generation, positioning Pakistan to thrive in the global knowledge economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
