Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday met Saudi Arabia\u2019s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki in a farewell call at the prime minister\u2019s house in Islamabad following the completion of the envoy\u2019s official tenure, the Prime Minister\u2019s Office (PMO) said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the PMO, the prime minister congratulated the “Saudi Ambassador on the successful completion of his official assignment” and lauded his \u201coutstanding contribution\u201d towards further strengthening the deep-rooted fraternal and strategic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The prime minister conveyed his warmest regards and best wishes for the health and well-being of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman,” the statement added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, H.E. Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the PM House, Islamabad, after completion of his official tenure in Pakistan.

He reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia\u2019s steadfast support and generous assistance, as well as its pivotal role in promoting peace and stability in the region, the PMO said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al-Malki expressed his \u201cprofound gratitude\u201d to PM Shehbaz and the government of Pakistan for the warmth, cooperation and hospitality extended to him throughout his assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Saudi ambassador described his stay in Pakistan as a \u201cdeeply memorable and rewarding experience\u201d and reaffirmed his personal commitment to the continued strengthening of Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations, the PMO added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PM Shehbaz wished Al-Malki continued success in his future endeavours, the statement concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pakistan eyes strategic economic ties with KSA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PM Shehbaz on Tuesday <\/a>said Pakistan was keen to elevate its economic relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia into a mutually beneficial strategic economic partnership in line with the vision of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A high-level Saudi business delegation, led by Chairman of the Saudi-Pak Joint Business Council, Prince Mansour bin Mohammad Al Saud, called on the prime minister here at the PM House, a news release said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While recalling the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and the Kingdom, the prime minister discussed avenues for expanding economic cooperation and investment between the two brotherly countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
