Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enable integration of HEC\u2019s degree verification system with PSEB\u2019s upcoming national digital workforce platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe initiative aims to facilitate digital verification of academic credentials, strengthen academia-industry linkages, and enhance graduate employability,\u201d says a press release issued here by HEC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chairman HEC Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar and Chief Executive Officer PSEB Faisal Jeddy attended the MoU signing ceremony along with other senior officials from both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the press release, the integration will facilitate digital degree verification, enabling authenticated academic credentials of students and professionals while enhancing transparency, credibility, and trust across digital workforce and talent development initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe platform will establish Pakistan\u2019s first national verified digital talent repository, featuring authenticated digital profiles of students and IT professionals. This will provide employers \u2013 both within Pakistan and internationally \u2013 with access to a trusted and verified talent pool, strengthening talent matchmaking, recruitment, and global employment opportunities for Pakistan\u2019s digital workforce,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
HEC stated this collaboration marks another significant step towards building an integrated, data-driven ecosystem that supports skills development, employability, and Pakistan\u2019s digital transformation agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
