{"id":34404,"date":"2026-07-06T17:11:52","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T17:11:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=34404"},"modified":"2026-07-06T17:11:56","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T17:11:56","slug":"khyber-tobacco-inks-mou-with-koreas-ktg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=34404","title":{"rendered":"Khyber Tobacco inks MoU with Korea&#8217;s KT&amp;G"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Informed stakeholders via a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/preferences\/source?q=brecorder.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Khyber Tobacco Company Limited (KHTC) announced on Monday that it had initially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KT&amp;G Corporation, a South Korean leading tobacco and consumer goods company, for the grant of a royalty license in respect of KT&amp;G\u2019s cigarette brand Pine Passion Sky.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KHTC disclosed the development in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It said that the MoU will be followed by a formal agreement about the proposed licensing arrangement, under which KHTC intends to manufacture and\/or market the brand in Pakistan and \u201csuch other territories as may be mutually agreed, subject to the execution of definitive agreements, obtaining all applicable regulatory approvals, and satisfaction of customary commercial conditions\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe company is optimistic that this strategic collaboration will have the potential to strengthen our product portfolio, enhance our competitive position, and support future business growth,\u201d the notice added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>READ MORE:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.brecorder.com\/news\/40409183\/khyber-tobacco-company-performance-and-outlook\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Khyber Tobacco Company: performance and outlook<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KHTC was incorporated in Pakistan as a public limited company in 1954.
