{"id":34173,"date":"2026-06-29T07:50:02","date_gmt":"2026-06-29T07:50:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=34173"},"modified":"2026-06-29T07:50:53","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T07:50:53","slug":"ogdcl-starts-production-from-bobi-deep-1-at-2000-bpd-in-sindh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=34173","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan: OGDCL starts production from Bobi Deep-1 at 2,000 bpd in Sindh"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Company says 1.5 km flowline enabled early production from Sanghar discovery; AKD Securities estimates annualised earnings impact of Rs1.19 per share on<\/em><\/strong> FY27 EPS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/profit.pakistantoday.com.pk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/ogdcl.png\" alt=\"OGDCL starts production from Bobi Deep-1 at 2,000 bpd in Sindh\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Oil &amp; Gas Development Company Limited has started production from Bobi Deep-1 in District Sanghar, Sindh, on a fast-track basis, with the well currently producing 2,000 barrels of oil per day, the company said in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The production start follows&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/profit.pakistantoday.com.pk\/2026\/06\/04\/ogdcl-announces-oil-discovery-from-bobi-deep-1-well-in-sindh\"><u>OGDCL\u2019s earlier disclosure on June 3, 2026<\/u><\/a>, in which the company announced an oil discovery at Bobi Deep-1 in the Massive Sand of the Lower Goru Formation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The well is located in the Bobi and Dhamraki Mining Lease in District Sanghar. OGDCL is the operator of the lease with a 100% working interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the company, early production was made possible after it completed a 4-inch, 1.5-kilometre flowline from the well site to the Bobi Plant within a short period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OGDCL said the move was part of its strategy to accelerate monetisation of discoveries through indigenous capabilities.
