During the visit, officials briefed the guests on the museum\u2019s extensive collection of Gandharan artifacts, Buddhist relics, and the historical importance of Taxila as one of the world\u2019s oldest centers of learning and civilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Members of the delegation toured various museum galleries and reviewed ongoing conservation and preservation efforts aimed at protecting the region\u2019s invaluable archaeological assets for future generations. The visitors expressed keen interest in the historical exhibits and the measures being taken to safeguard the heritage sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the visit, the delegation also explored the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Sirkap and Dharmarajika. Officials briefed them on the historical, cultural, and architectural significance of these ancient settlements, which stand as enduring symbols of the Gandharan civilization and the region\u2019s Buddhist heritage.
