During Doornbos&#8217; visit, she commended Pakistan for its hospitality and expressed appreciation for the country\u2019s cuisine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She took to X to share a picture of her meal at a restaurant in the F-7 Sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pakistanis were quick to respond, with a user encouraging Doornbos to acknowledge the country\u2019s peaceful environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"590\" height=\"197\" src=\"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-87.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-31372\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-87.png 590w, https:\/\/gsrra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-87-300x100.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Doornbos later posted another dish, halwa, calling it her new guilty pleasure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In another post, she shared that breakfast in Pakistan had become her favourite meal, adding that the hospitality of Pakistanis is amongst the warmest and most welcoming she has ever experienced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The journalist also shared a scenic image of the city, writing, \u201cGood morning from beautiful Islamabad, where the Pakistani people are buzzing with excitement at the possibility of playing a major role in bringing peace to the Middle East.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The journalist was also pictured wearing a shalwar kameez at the Serena Hotel, as she waited for the US-Iran talks to conclude.
