{"id":27819,"date":"2026-01-08T04:55:51","date_gmt":"2026-01-08T04:55:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=27819"},"modified":"2026-01-08T04:55:54","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T04:55:54","slug":"damac-delegation-offers-tech-expertise-to-pakistan-in-real-world-assets-blockchain-ai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=27819","title":{"rendered":"Damac delegation offers tech expertise to Pakistan in real-world assets, blockchain, AI"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/whatsapp.com\/channel\/0029VaMc238IiRov8okfYy3n\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/whatsapp.com\/channel\/0029VaMc238IiRov8okfYy3n\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a>A delegation of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.damacgroup.com\/en-ae\/leadership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Damac Group\u00a0<\/a>on Wednesday offered technical expertise to Pakistan in real-world assets, blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI), the finance minister said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A high-level delegation, including&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.damacgroup.com\/en-ae\/leadership\/\">Damac Group<\/a>&nbsp;Co-Managing Director&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amirasajwani.ae\/\">Amira Hussain Sajwani<\/a>, is on a visit to Pakistan and has held multiple meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One Group Chairman Syed Zeeshan Shah led the delegation\u2019s meeting with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe visiting delegation expressed strong interest in partnering with the Government of Pakistan and offered technical expertise, advisory support and capacity building in areas such as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1926183\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tokenisation<\/a>&nbsp;of real-world assets, blockchain-based platforms, AI-driven solutions and modern digital infrastructure,\u201d the finance ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It added that the meeting focused on emerging global trends in tokenisation, AI, blockchain and digital infrastructure, and the potential for collaboration in support of Pakistan\u2019s ongoing financial sector reforms and digital transformation agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The delegation highlighted \u201cglobal best practices and private-sector innovation that could support Pakistan in enhancing transparency, efficiency, investor access and financial inclusion, while fully respecting the country\u2019s legal and regulatory framework\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aurangzeb welcomed the delegation\u2019s interest and appreciated their willingness to engage constructively with Pakistan, his ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe underscored the government\u2019s commitment to responsible innovation, strong governance and regulatory compliance, and noted that Pakistan is actively engaging credible international partners to evaluate new technologies that can strengthen its financial ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The minister stressed that any future collaboration would be guided by \u201cnational priorities, transparency and applicable laws and policies\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sajwani, who was part of the delegation, is also the co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Prypco company. The team included Chief of Staff Alp Ozenalp, One Homes Chief Commercial Officer Aqib Hassan and Prypco General Manager Tokenisation Joseph El Am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The finance ministry statement noted that the meeting took place amid Pakistan\u2019s recent initiatives to \u201cexplore responsible&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1897897\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">adoption<\/a>&nbsp;of emerging financial technologies, including the government\u2019s efforts to assess compliant&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1960866\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blockchain infrastructure<\/a>&nbsp;for sovereign and real-world assets\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBoth sides noted that such technologies, if deployed prudently, can help deepen capital markets, attract international investment and support sustainable economic growth,\u201d the ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On December 18, Bilal bin Saqib, chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA), discussed issues related to digital asset adoption with State Bank of Pakistan Governor Jameel Ahmad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In August last year, the government officially established the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1932074\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pakistan Digital Authority<\/a>&nbsp;(PDA) as one of three bodies formed under the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1879138\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Digital Nation Bill<\/a>.
