<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>Pakistan has assured full facilitation to Chinese FinTech giant Fintopia China for launching digital financing initiatives in the country, as the government intensifies efforts to attract technology-led foreign investment and strengthen Pak\u2013China economic cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The assurance was given by Federal Minister for Board of Investment (BOI) Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, who held an important meeting with a delegation of Fintopia China at the Board of Investment, Islamabad, said a press release issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, the minister reaffirmed that Pakistan and China are iron-clad friends and said bilateral cooperation particularly in investment and technology-driven sectors is expanding under the shared vision of both countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the visit followed Fintopia\u2019s participation in the Pakistan\u2013China B2B Investment Conference held in Beijing in September 2025 during Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif\u2019s visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh highlighted Pakistan\u2019s strong market potential, noting that as the world\u2019s fifth most populous country, it offers a large consumer base for FinTech and digital financial services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized that technology-led growth is a key priority of the government under the prime minister\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The minister said FinTech and digital finance initiatives could significantly support small businesses and SMEs while creating entrepreneurial opportunities for youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response, the Fintopia delegation expressed strong interest in initiating a digital financing venture in Pakistan and exploring structured collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The delegation was briefed on key government reforms, including the Business Facilitation Center (BFC) and the Asaan Karobar Act, aimed at improving ease of doing business and reducing regulatory hurdles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were also informed about investment incentives available in Special Economic Zones (SEZs), particularly for high-growth and technology-oriented sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Sheikh reiterated that facilitating investors remains a top government priority and assured the delegation of full support for any prospective investment, partnership, pilot project, or digital financing initiative in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
