Likewise, on a month-on-month basis, the exports of the same group registered an increase of 13.38%\u00a0 compared to exports worth $1.4bn in August 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cumulatively in 3MFY26, the textile exports increased by 7.31% YoY to $4.57bn compared to $4.26bn in 3MFY25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The total exports as per BOP for September clocked in at $2.63bn, up by 0.53% YoY compared to $2.62bn in September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, every month, exports increased by 5.37% MoM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September 2025, Textile Group products remained the major exportable goods for Pakistan as this group accounted for 60.46% of the total exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the review month, key contributing products under the textile head were Knitwear ($452.32m), Readymade Garments ($356.31m), and Bed Wear ($291.49m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knitwear exports rose by 19.7%, Readymade Garments exports increased by 2.11%, and the inflow of foreign currency through Bed Wear moved up by 14.06%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The food group remained the second most contributing group in total exports. The export value of this group stood at $369.68m, showing a significant decline of 24.45% YoY compared to $489.31m in September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conversely, every month, the exports from the respective group rose by 6.74% MoM compared to $346.34m in August 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Collectively in 3MFY26, the earnings from food group exports decreased by 25.83% YoY to $1.13bn compared to $1.53bn in 3MFY25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the same group, Rice remained the major source of foreign exchange earnings as the export value of the commodity during September 2025 stood at $120.31m marking an increase of 4.75% MoM and 39.45% YoY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The export of Oil Seeds, Nuts and Kernels stood at $14.28m in September, declining by 70.22% YoY and 209.09% MoM compared to $47.94m in September 2026 and $4.62m in August 2025 respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Going forward, the exports of surgical goods &amp; medical instruments rose by 3.38% YoY to clock in at $39.71m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exports of leather manufacturers also saw a positive trend as they went up by 7% YoY to $59.95m in September 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, sports goods foreign earnings increased by 18.81% YoY to $38.59m in September 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, when compared with the figure of $38.1m in August 2025, the export of sports goods has improved by 1.29% MoM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inflow through the chemical and pharmaceutical products decreased by 21.31% YoY to $102.89m in September 2023 compared to $130.75m in SPLY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data further shows that the share of the Petroleum group in the country\u2019s total export basket was only 2.12% in September 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the review period, the country earned $55.67m from exports of petroleum products, declining by 21.67% YoY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reference Link:- <a href=\"https:\/\/mettisglobal.news\/Textile-exports-rise-81-YoY-in-September-56060\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/mettisglobal.news\/Textile-exports-rise-81-YoY-in-September-56060<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MG News&nbsp;| October 20, 2025 at 04:45 PM GMT+05:00 Pakistan&#8217;s total textile exports went up by 8.1% to Rs1.59bn year-on-year in September 2025.
