{"id":24702,"date":"2025-09-30T00:50:50","date_gmt":"2025-09-30T00:50:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=24702"},"modified":"2025-09-30T00:50:54","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T00:50:54","slug":"pakistan-turkey-envoy-stresses-stronger-pakistan-turkiye-cooperation-in-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=24702","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan-Turkey: Envoy stresses stronger Pakistan, Turkiye cooperation in education"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thenews.com.pk\/assets\/uploads\/updates\/2025-09-26\/1346420_5205012_h_updates.jpg\" alt=\"Turkish Ambassador Irfan Neziro lu. \u2014 APP\/File\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Turkish Ambassador Irfan Neziro lu. \u2014 APP\/File<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Islamabad: Turkish Ambassador Irfan Neziro lu on Thursday said that Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye must deepen cooperation in the field of education, stressing that academic exchange and people-to-people contacts are vital to strengthening the historic brotherly ties between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking at an orientation program for 166 Pakistani students awarded T\u00fcrkiye Scholarships in 2025, held at the Turkish Embassy in Islamabad, Ambassador Neziro lu highlighted that this year marked a record intake from Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEvery year, nearly thirty thousand students apply for T\u00fcrkiye Scholarships, and we are proud that a record number of Pakistani students will now pursue undergraduate, master\u2019s, and doctoral studies in T\u00fcrkiye on fully funded scholarships,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neziro lu said hundreds of Pakistani students are already studying in every major city of T\u00fcrkiye and that Turkish universities and educational institutions are \u201cvery happy and satisfied with the performance and hard work of Pakistani students.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He urged them to learn the Turkish language, explore different cities, understand the culture, visit the families of their Turkish classmates, and adopt the good practices of their mentors to take back home. Highlighting the century-old brotherhood between the two nations, the envoy said: \u201cFor the last 100 years, the people of T\u00fcrkiye and Pakistan have been helping each other. Pakistanis were the first to come forward for Turkish people in distress, and we have always done the same for Pakistan. There is no difference of interests between T\u00fcrkiye and Pakistan. They are two strong nations of the Islamic world and must work together for the benefit of its people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He even drew a symbolic comparison between the two countries\u2019 flags, pointing out their star and crescent, white color, and similar style. \u201cOur flags are 75 percent similar, and the same level of cooperation should now be taken to the next level.
