Floral decorations at Beijing’s downtown Tian’anmen Square and Chang’an Avenue have been completed ahead of China’s massive V-Day military parade in early next month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These floral displays feature over 100 varieties of plants arranged in 10 sets of flower beds, with a theme focusing on remembering history, honoring martyrs, cherishing peace and creating the future, according to the Beijing Municipal Forestry and Parks Bureau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decorations will remain on show following the parade and last until the 2025 National Day holiday in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The parade, to be held on Sept. 3 in Beijing, marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. \u25a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
