Sharjah Chamber and Pakistan Business Council strengthen bilateral cooperation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharjah: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has reaffirmed the deep-rooted business ties between Sharjah<\/a> and Pakistan<\/a>, built on decades of friendship and mutual trust between the UAE<\/a> and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chamber stressed its commitment to elevating this relationship into a new era of strategic economic cooperation, guided by the vision of both nations\u2019 leaderships and driven by the success of their business communities in seizing promising investment opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The remarks came during a special business meeting between the SCCI and the Pakistan Business Council, held at the Sharjah Maritime Museum to mark Pakistan\u2019s Independence Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event brought together key figures, including SCCI Chairman Abdallah Sultan Al Owais; Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan to Dubai and the Northern Emirates; and SCCI Director-General Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi. Senior officials, council members, and representatives from both sides were also in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his address, Al Owais congratulated the Pakistan Business Council on the occasion and highlighted the UAE-Pakistan trade partnership, which recorded a robust volume of $10.9 billion in the 2023\u20132024 fiscal year.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that this relationship is now moving towards high-impact investments, with the UAE allocating $10 billion to sectors such as renewable energy, technology, and agriculture in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For his part, Dr. Syed Muhammad Tahir, Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council in Sharjah, expressed appreciation to the SCCI for hosting the celebration, calling it a reflection of the enduring bonds between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSharjah is an ideal destination for Pakistani investors, home to thousands of successful Pakistani companies that benefit from its competitive and supportive business environment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Tahir also emphasised the Council\u2019s commitment to expanding cooperation with the SCCI, including participation in Sharjah\u2019s trade events such as the Khorfakkan Mango Festival, which showcase Pakistani products and help strengthen both commercial and cultural ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
