{"id":22743,"date":"2025-08-03T13:16:34","date_gmt":"2025-08-03T13:16:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=22743"},"modified":"2025-08-03T13:16:36","modified_gmt":"2025-08-03T13:16:36","slug":"cda-to-fast-track-development-of-long-delayed-islamabad-sectors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=22743","title":{"rendered":"CDA to Fast-Track Development of Long-Delayed Islamabad Sectors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/CDA-jobs.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has come under pressure to accelerate stalled development projects in several sectors of Islamabad, particularly E-12, where allottees have been waiting for possession of their plots for over three decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During a high-level meeting on Friday, CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed the engineering wing to expedite development work in key sectors, including C-14 and I-12, with a two-month completion timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also instructed officials to float tenders for sub-sector E-12\/4 and begin work wherever possession is available. The chairman tasked the Deputy Commissioner with securing land possession in E-12\/4 by resolving disputes with locals. Partial development has taken place in E-12 since its launch in 1989, but most allottees still lack access to their plots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis month, we are planning to issue allotment letters for plots where development is complete,\u201d said a CDA official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting also reviewed progress in Sectors C-15, C-16, and I-12. It was reported that 70% of road, drainage, and sewerage work in I-12 is complete.
