{"id":21074,"date":"2025-07-01T07:20:56","date_gmt":"2025-07-01T07:20:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=21074"},"modified":"2025-07-01T07:20:59","modified_gmt":"2025-07-01T07:20:59","slug":"bykea-enables-digital-payments-amid-user-demand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=21074","title":{"rendered":"Bykea enables digital payments amid user demand"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Company mulls integrating card payments in future<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/channel\/UCFWx0mweS7ExXjs3s_wH0CQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BusinessRecorder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/businessrecorder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/brecordernews\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brecorder.com\/feeds\/latest-news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><strong>Ride-hailing and delivery service provider Bykea on Wednesday announced that it was enabling digital payments for all rides in an effort to offer customers \u201ca seamless, secure, and cashless commuting experience\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a post on LinkedIn, Bykea\u2019s chief operating officer and co-founder Rafiq Malik described the move as a \u201csignificant milestone in Bykea\u2019s journey toward modernizing urban mobility in Pakistan\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this update, passengers can now pay Bykea\u2019s \u2018driver partners\u2019 via Easypaisa, JazzCash and online bank transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis shift is more than just a convenience\u2014it\u2019s a transformative step toward financial inclusion and safer, more efficient travel,\u201d said Malik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor customers who prefer not to carry cash or rely on digital wallets and bank transfers, this feature ensures a hassle-free payment experience while reducing the risks associated with cash handling,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malik said the move would not only improve user convenience but also contribute to a broader economic shift toward a cashless ecosystem \u2014 \u201cone that promotes transparency, security, and financial accessibility for all\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking to&nbsp;<em>Business Recorder<\/em>, Malik said\u2060 \u2060Bykea initially launched as a cash-first platform, mirroring Pakistan\u2019s reliance on cash transactions.
