{"id":20880,"date":"2025-06-28T03:45:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-28T03:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=20880"},"modified":"2025-06-28T03:45:02","modified_gmt":"2025-06-28T03:45:02","slug":"us-remains-top-buyer-of-pakistani-exports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gsrra.com\/?p=20880","title":{"rendered":"US remains top buyer of Pakistani exports"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>China, UK follow as leading destinations; exports to the US rise over 11%<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.tribune.com.pk\/media\/images\/IT-export1737156436-0\/IT-export1737156436-0-640x480.webp\" alt=\"tribune\" title=\"tribune\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The United States remained the top export destination for Pakistani products during the first eleven months of the current fiscal year 2024-25, followed by China and the United Kingdom, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Total exports to the US during July-May 2024-25 were recorded at $5,552.615 million, compared to $4,999.608 million during the same period in 2023-24, marking an increase of 11.06%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>China ranked second, with Pakistani exports amounting to $2,270.032 million, down from $2,556.126 million last year, showing a decline of 11.19%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The United Kingdom was the third-largest export market, with exports reaching $1,985.167 million during the review period, compared to $1,863.566 million the previous year, according to SBP data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among other countries, exports to the United Arab Emirates were recorded at $1,979.847 million, up from $1,879.640 million last year. Exports to Germany stood at $1,549.055 million, compared to $1,383.763 million a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exports to the Netherlands (Holland) totalled $1,384.521 million, up from $1,275.110 million, while those to Italy were recorded at $1,046.224 million, slightly higher than last year&#8217;s $1,032.472 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exports to Spain reached $1,354.836 million, compared to $1,334.277 million last year.
