Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday conveyed his wishes to implement key decisions to boost bilateral ties with Pakistan, particularly in the field of trade, state broadcater PTV News<\/a><\/em> reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited<\/a> Turkiye for two days last month and expressed gratitude to Erdogan for Turkiye\u2019s support<\/a> during a brief military confrontation<\/a> with India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to PTV News<\/em>, a delegation-level meeting between the two nations was \u201cwarm and most cordial\u201d and both nations \u201creaffirmed the deep-rooted, historic, and brotherly ties between Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye, anchored in shared values, mutual respect, and a common vision for progress and prosperity\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>PTV News<\/em>\u00a0reported that the Turkish president made his remarks during a phone call with PM Shehbaz, where both leaders exchanged Eidul Azha greetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile recalling their recent meetings in Istanbul and Lachin<\/a>, the prime minister thanked President Erdogan once again for Turkiye\u2019s strong and unwavering support to Pakistan during the recent Pakistan-India crisis,\u201d the report read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe said this gesture has won the hearts of the people of Pakistan and added another glorious chapter to the history of [the] Pakistan-Turkiye brotherhood.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both leaders agreed to fast-track key decisions taken in recent meetings, which PM Shehbaz said would \u201chelp accelerate bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade and investment\u201d, the report stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Erdogan and Shehbaz \u201creaffirmed their unflinching support to each other on their core interests. They also discussed the latest regional and global developments, including the situation in Gaza.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn his remarks, President Erdogan \u2026 reaffirmed Turkiye\u2019s resolute support to Pakistan on all important issues,\u201d PTV News<\/em> added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
