Jillani, Director Engineering Services, PAA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The entire process\u2014including planning, design, implementation, and installation\u2014is scheduled for completion within 24 months. The consultants will provide technical supervision and guide contractors selected through a competitive tendering process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key discussions included the integration of the e-gate system with ICAO protocols and local airport agency systems. Once implemented, the e-gates will significantly enhance passenger security, introduce automated control, and reduce reliance on manual processing, ensuring a smoother travel experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surveys at Lahore and Islamabad airports are complete, while the survey at Karachi\u2019s Jinnah International Airport begins tomorrow.
