Discussions focused on industries, agriculture and livestock, mines and minerals, oil and gas, and port development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The committee emphasised the importance of close coordination among stakeholders to accelerate industrialisation and improve the investment climate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Progress was also reviewed on the framework for special economic zones approved during the 11th Apex Committee meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with directives issued for expedited implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Efforts to grant industry status to the warehousing and logistics sector were lauded. This policy aims to unlock investment in modern supply chain infrastructure, supporting exports, agriculture, and manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The committee highlighted that this initiative could position Pakistan as a preferred hub in global and regional supply chains.
