Regal Automobiles Industries Limited is all set to unveil Pakistan\u2019s first locally assembled electric crossover SUV, the Seres 3, at a launch event on November 30 at their plant in Lahore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This marks a significant achievement for the country\u2019s automotive sector, highlighting a step forward in the eco-friendly electric vehicle market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier this year, Regal Motors received certification from the Engineering Development Board (EDB), granting them approval for the in-house assembly of the Seres 3 EV in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Seres 3 boasts impressive specifications, featuring a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that delivers 156 hp (116 kW) and 280 Nm of torque. It is powered by a 54 kWh Lithium-ion battery, offering a range of up to 403 km on a single charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The vehicle supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 0 to 80% in just 40 minutes. The Seres 3 can reach a top speed of 160 km\/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km\/h in just 8.9 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inside, the Seres 3 provides a premium experience, featuring a 10.25-inch touchscreen and advanced infotainment options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Seres 3, which can seat up to five passengers, is expected to be priced at Rs8,390,000 in Pakistan. It will be available in two variants: one with a 49 kWh battery and another with the 54 kWh battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
