Today, the culture behind the terms provides useful guidance to people’s lives as each term features special food, cultural ceremonies and healthy living tips.
Minor Cold, also known as “Xiao Han” in Chinese, is the 23rd of the 24 Solar Terms on the Chinese lunar calendar and falls on January 5 this year. As Minor Cold arrives, the Spring Festival is also approaching. Most areas in China have entered the bitter cold stage of winter during this time.
