China-Pakistan diplomatic dialogue strengthened in Beijing
In a statement, Chinese embassy in Islamabad quoted that the two diplomats engaged in an in-depth exchange of views, focusing on strengthening China-Pakistan relations and addressing major international and regional issues of mutual interest and concern.
The statement noted that vice foreign minister Sun Weidong of China and Pakistani foreign secretary Amna Baloch also held the 4th round of diplomatic consultations at the vice foreign minister level.
The two officials also co-chaired the 5th meeting of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Joint Working Group (JWG) on International Cooperation and Coordination.
