China-Kyrgyzstan partnership paves way for regional connectivity

China is helping build the new North-South Highway in Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. Upon completion, it will become the main transport artery connecting the north and the south of Kyrgyzstan and an important international transport channel in Central Asia.
