Secretary of State Anthony Blinken concluded his Middle East trip, yet, Israeli attacks are not halted and people are suffering in Gaza. More than 24000 Palestinian killed, which is a much higher number than total causalities in any other war in the recent history. The irony is that causalities of civilians are very high, especially the young children are the worst victim. The siege has not ended yet. Displacement of 90% of the Gaza population has created a humanitarian crisis.

The chances Blinken’s mission to succeed are very little. The US is a party in Israel-Palestine conflict, cannot play a role of neutral mediator.

The core issue is Palestine, unless we address the Palestinian issue, there will be not durable peace in the region.
