China is an old civilization and its history goes back several thousand years. It has passed through many ups and downs in history. But, the worst era of two centuries was a bitter experience, where it was colonialized by the West, suppressed, harassed, coerced, and invaded. Chinese learned a lot from this averse experience and became more mature, wise, sensible, and united. Today, China is a well-matured, smart, and visionary nation. With the rise of China as a global power, it understands its global obligations and responsibilities. China has been playing a vital role in geopolitics and contributing a lot to global peace, security, development, economy, and prosperity.
The most recent event of bringing Iran and Saudi Arabia close to each other is a mega achievement of its peace-promoting efforts. Saudi Arabia is oil rich country and the center of the Muslim world, is a very important nation in the global community. Iran is rich in oil, gas, and minerals and is a rich nation and equally important in the world. But, unfortunately, both, Iran and Saudi Arabia were not getting well with each other. Although most of the differences were based on a misunderstanding but were exploited by the West. The US and its allies were selling a huge amount of weapons to not only Saudi Araba but to most of the oil-rich Gulf States by projecting Iran as a threat. The West spoiled the relations between them with ill intentions.
As a result of Western propaganda, the whole region was under severe tension and always on the verge of a big disaster, like war. Due to confrontation, both countries were spending heavily on arms and leaving less for the development and prosperity of their citizens.
